My CVS Pregnancy Test showed a light POSITIVE.Am i pregnant?

we have had a hard time having a baby. and false positive before because of soap in the cup i used but thiss time didnt use a cup and it showed two light lines am I also had a funny period.

My CVS Pregnancy Test showed a light POSITIVE.Am i pregnant?
yes you are. if a light line didn't convince you then you may want to buy a digital test. it will just say pregnant or not pregnant.
Reply:More than likely you are pregnant, since you didn't use a cup to muddy the reading, and the test looks for a protein that's in your urine during pregnancy that shows up positive when that protein is present. If you're not completely sure, then your doctor can do a pregnancy test. I went through two home tests, both with inconclusive readings (very frustrating) before I went to the doctor and found out I was pregnant. Best of luck to you, for pregnancy and for motherhood :)
Reply:I had A LOT of trouble with CVS' test (at least the one that has blue dye). But if the test is a light positive, it is still positive. If you still are not sure, you should purchase a different test (a pink dye one or a digi one -- you can buy a pink dye test at the dollar tree which is just as accurate) and test again.
Reply:With both of my pregnancies I took early tests and could see a very light positive. I waited another 2 weeks and took another test and the positive came up fast and really dark. If you're late on your period or spotting lightly then more than likely you are just barely pregnant. I know it's hard, but don't drive hyourself nuts taking a million test. At least wait another week and then take another one OR get one of the digital test that actually say PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT....That's what I used with my second pregnancy....It was awesome to see the PREGNANT come up. Good Luck to you!!
Reply:Every once in a blue moon there are false positives (as you well know but, these are rare). All signs point to yes! Congrats! :)

P.S. If you want to be sure sure you can wait a couple weeks and retest (the level of hCG doubles in your blood daily when you are pregnant) or schedule your OB appt. to get confirmation through one of a number of tests in their office. Best of luck!
Reply:Don't matter if it's light or dark, you're pregnant! Congratz to you!

Take another test in the morning when you first go potty, should be darker, then call ur doctor and set up an appointment for verification!
Reply:Yes you are pregnant based on the lines i had a test that showed one really lite and the other dark and then i took another test and they were both lite, and then it turned out i was pregnant.
Reply:take another one.. also take this quiz

good luck..
Reply:It sounds promising.

I did 8 tests using various brands and all were very light positives. I'm 25 weeks pregnant now.

Do a couple more tests just to be sure but it looks good.

All the best.
Reply:a light positive is still a positive. retesting in a a couple more days will probaby show a stronger positive result/line. Congrats!
Reply:Ok well i guess congratulations are in order !! I wish you all the best thru ur pregnancy ! :-) may the dear lord bless ur child
Reply:CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

That "period" was probably implantation bleeding.
