How does doing your pictures at cvs or walmart and sending them to family work?

I want to get my family to send me pictures they dont have an account at one of these places do you need a media card reader? to do it

How does doing your pictures at cvs or walmart and sending them to family work?
If your family member has the USB cable that came with their camera they should be able to connect the camera to their computer and transfer the images onto it. (no need to run to the store and have the images burnt onto a CD if it can be avoided right?)





I work for Walgreens so the rest of my instructions are for using our services.





Have the family member go to http://www.walgreens.com


Click on the photo tab at the top of the screen


Click on "Not Registered, Sign up!" on the right hand of the screen.


Once they have a user name, they just need to log on and they will be taken to the Photo Center Home Page. On the right hand side there will be a box called "Getting Started", click on "Upload Photos"


The next page will ask you to download a small file, you dont have to, but it makes uploading pictures much easier.


Once they have them uploaded to the site click on the folder and click "order prints", select the ones they want to send, and choose to send them by mail or to a store; if the are sending them to you, have them scroll down when it asks


this because there is an option to send them to another person (this is convenient because this way they show up at the store under your name and not theirs)





Pictures can be sent to most of our 5800 stores nationwide and picked up in about an hour..

P.S. Prints are normally 19 cents ea. but if you order 100 or more the price drops to 15 cents for 4x6's
Reply:Simply take your camera or media card to any place that does it, CVS, Wal-Mart, Costco, Walgreen's, etc, and just have them put the pictures on a CD. That way, all you have to do it either make copies of the CD and mail them or email them from the CD to family members. It's easy and inexpensive.
Reply:ur family can try n c if they know sumone that have a account n they can help them...if not b4 they do anything with CVS or Wal-Mart they should ask...the best way 2 do it is if they can ask Wal-Mart or go 2 Walgreens n have them put the pics they want 2 send u on a CD...it's better n cheap...i do it all the time...Good Luck!
Reply:you can always send ur pics online and then cvs will do them for u from doin the online prints i think it just takes more time
