Why do employers say they want honesty in CVs then reject you for it?





Likewiase at the interview.





ie be yourself... you turn up with green spikey hair rejected.





You be honest and put down the reason why you left is the boss was an ashole.





How about how much do you want... £100,000 a year and personal massages with extras





Why do you want this job.... ie despirate, need money to pay bills.





What are your interests.





Getting stonned, illegal raves, being part of the fetish scene.


and political like demos.








Not that all of these are me Not into drugs but would love cheering on the girls at a wet t shirt competion.








But if bosses say they want honesty why then use it to reject people if they are keen to work.





Ie Want a job with a decent wage I can live on and make up for lost time with you giving me lots of training so can get paid maore and use my brain.





Or how about Lost the last job as it was something I was rubbish at. I only took it as needed the money

They want you to be honest then when you get the job they lie to you throughout your job!
Reply:They want you to be honest with them and yourself so that you can determine if you are a good fit for the job and the job is a good fit for you.





If you showed up in a coat and tie for an interview at a trendy punk clothing store, you would probably be rejected. Green hair at an investment banking company, rejected. But switch the two and you'd be making a good first impression.

Why else would you go for a job if you didn't need it to survive, however I'd probably leave mentioning the drugs out though :-)

Reply:would you give a job to someone who matches the description you've given. What employers mean by honesty is not claiming abilities you don't have.
