Has anyone used the CVS brand early response pregnancy test?

I used 2 and the first was a visible positive blue line appeared in a few seconds. Then later did another one and the positive blue line appeared quickly and very dark. I just don't know this brand, and if they give false positives. Anyone else know?

Congratulations you are pregnant. False positives are rare and every pregnancy test has a different sensitivity level even the same brand or two in one box so one line can appear darker than another one taken at the same time. Time to make a dr.'s appt.. Good Luck!

Reply:I do not know about the cvs brands but a false negative is very common while a false positive is rare due to the chemical it detects. If you are early in your pregnancy you may not have enough chemical to detect thus a negative result but the chemical is not in your body unless you are pregnant so chances are you are pregnant. Hope this makes sense.

Reply:I used it 6 days before my period was due and got a faint but very noticable line,u could definitely see it but just wasnt as dark as if i tested after my period was due....Keep in mind,there are such things as false negatives but never false positives...these tests pick up the hcg in your urine that only pregnancy creates...congrats!!!

Reply:Trust me it works, when i was pregnant i used a dollar store brand which costs 1 dollar and it told me right off the bat that i was pregnant!

Reply:i say you are pregnant....on the second test you probably didn't have enough hormone to test ,watered down...you should always use first morning urine on those tests.....you can never have a false positive ,but you can always have a false negative...

Reply:they are pretty effective.. my friend took it 3 times with the brand your referring to and it was positive and she had a baby! i would still go to the doctor or to a planned parenthood to make sure...

Reply:Yeah there good, actually even the ones at the dollar store are good, they all react to your pregnacy hormorne in your unriune, they all do the job! Doesn't matter how much you pay for it, EPT and brand names as such are more expensive just because they are made better then tha ones at your local family dollar!

I prefer ept..... they never been wrong on me...............just remember if u are pregnant and the test gave u a negative result u get u money back or if u not preg and test say u are u get u money back read the box for the warranty oooooohhhh and congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! dark or lite is positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
