Reply:Consumer Value Stores Corporation; never a longer name. Founded in 1963 in MA (incorporated in DE, HQ'd in RI). Started in health and beauty products and grew primarily through a number of acquisitions. It didn't begin pharma ops until '67.
Reply:originally Consumer Value Stores, now "Customer, Value, Service"
