Because i work at cvs and duane reade is apparently as famous as cvs, but i've never heard of it O_O
Is Duane Reade a WestCost equivalent to EastCoast CVS?
Duane Reade is one of the largest chain CVS type store in NYC , It originated at Duane and Reade Streets in Soho NYC . They might be expanding to other areas .
Reply:Duane Reade is very much an east coast chain, having started in New York. The name Duane Reade comes from the location of the company's first warehouse, at the corner of Duane and Reade Streets in lower Manhattan.
When I checked the site for a list of locations, they all seem t be in the Metro NY area.
