I have a perscription at CVS, but I want to get it refilled at Kroger because it is cheaper. How can I change

Do I need to have CVS transfer it over to Kroger or have Kroger call CVS?

Give the pharmacy at Kroger the prescription information for the one at CVS. Most pharmacies will call the other pharmacy and get the prescription transferred on behalf of the customer. It's usually a service offered by then in an effort to get your business.
Reply:You should go to costco. You don't have to have a costco card. Prescriptions are waaayyyyy cheap there. I had a prescription and went to CVS. I don't have insuranse and they wanted to charge me $190.00 and that was for generic stuff. I told them that was too much and I would go somewhere else. I went to costco and got the thing filled for $68.00. Hell Ya!
Reply:call Kroger, give them the CVS prescription number and phone number
Reply:Phone Kroger Pharmacy, give them the Rx#, let them take it from there.
Reply:I think once it is filled they have already charged your insurance and they won't refund it. They insurance won't pay twice either. If you are paying cash then I suggest going to CVS and letting them know the situation and ask for the prescription back. They shouldn't have a problem with that just don't let it sit too long.
